By placing an order, you confirm that:

• You are at least 18 years of age or legally authorized to enter into a binding contract.

• All information provided by you is true and accurate.

• You have the legal authority to purchase and import our products into your country, if applicable.

4. Website Usage

You agree to use this Website only for lawful purposes. You shall not:

6. Natural Stone Disclaimer

All our products are handcrafted from genuine natural stone. Since natural stone is formed by nature over millions of years, every piece is unique.

Natural variations are not defects and may include:

• Mineral deposits

• Natural pores and pits

• Crystal formations

• Small natural fissures

• Fossils or surface markings

These natural characteristics make every product exclusive and cannot be considered a manufacturing defect.

7. Product Images

Product photographs, catalogue images, brochures, videos, social media posts, and AI-generated visualizations are for illustration purposes only.

Actual products may vary slightly due to:

Such differences shall not be considered defects.

8. Handmade Products

Each product is handcrafted by skilled artisans.

Minor variations are normal and acceptable, including:

• Minor handcrafted edge and finishing differences

These variations are part of handmade craftsmanship and are not manufacturing defects.

9. Custom Orders

Custom Orders are manufactured according to customer-approved:

• Design

• Dimensions

• Material

• Marble or stone selection

• Finish

• Texture

• Carving

• Special requirements

Once production has started, Custom Orders cannot be cancelled, exchanged, or returned except in the event of a manufacturing error by Oceania Washbasin.

10. Design Approval

Before manufacturing begins, customers must carefully review and approve all drawings, dimensions, material selections, finishes, and other specifications.

Any changes requested after production has commenced may incur additional charges, revised lead times, or may not be technically possible.

11. Product Specification Guarantee

Oceania Washbasin guarantees that every product will be manufactured according to the customer's final approved specifications.

If the delivered product differs from the approved design, dimensions, material, finish, or customization solely due to our manufacturing error, we will provide an appropriate resolution in accordance with our Replacement Policy.

12. Pricing

All prices are listed in Indian Rupees (INR) unless otherwise stated.

Currency conversion displayed on the Website is for reference only. Final payment may vary depending on exchange rates, bank charges, taxes, and payment provider fees.

Prices may change without prior notice; however, confirmed orders will not be affected.

13. Taxes & Additional Charges

Unless specifically stated otherwise:

• Prices exclude shipping charges.

• Prices exclude customs duties, import taxes, VAT, GST, brokerage charges, storage charges, and any government-imposed fees.

These charges are the sole responsibility of the customer.

14. Payment Terms

Orders are confirmed only after receipt of the required payment.

For custom-made, architectural, bulk, or export orders, Oceania Washbasin may require advance payment or full payment before production begins.

Production or dispatch will not commence until payment has been successfully received.

15. Manufacturing Lead Time

Most handcrafted products require 7–45 working days for manufacturing, depending on:

• Product design

• Quantity

• Material availability

• Production schedule

• Seasonal demand

Large commercial or highly customized projects may require additional production time.

Estimated lead times are approximate and not guaranteed delivery dates.

16. Transparent Manufacturing Process

To provide a premium customer experience, Oceania Washbasin may share photographs and videos during different stages of production, including material selection, carving, polishing, finishing, quality inspection, and packaging.

These updates are provided as a courtesy and may vary depending on the product and production schedule.

17. Right to Refuse Orders

Oceania Washbasin reserves the right to refuse, suspend, or cancel any order if:

• Fraud or unauthorized payment is suspected.

• Incorrect pricing has been published due to technical or human error.

• The requested product cannot be manufactured to our quality standards.

• The design infringes third-party intellectual property rights.

• Compliance with applicable laws or export regulations is not possible.

• Any unforeseen circumstance prevents order fulfilment.

Any eligible refund will be processed in accordance with our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

18. Shipping & Delivery

 

Oceania Washbasin ships products across India and to selected international destinations through trusted logistics partners.

- Transportation delays

19. Shipping Charges

21. Transfer of Risk

 

Every product is thoroughly inspected and securely packed before dispatch.

 

Once the shipment has been handed over to the courier, transporter, freight company, shipping line, or logistics provider, the responsibility for transportation passes to the shipping carrier.

 

Customers are strongly advised to purchase Shipping Insurance for valuable domestic and international shipments.

22. Optional Shipping Insurance

 

Shipping Insurance is completely optional.

 

Customers who wish to protect their shipment against transit damage, loss, or accidental breakage may purchase Shipping Insurance by paying an additional charge equal to 20% of the total product value.

 

Where Shipping Insurance has been purchased, eligible claims shall be handled in accordance with the applicable insurance provider's terms and conditions.

23. Orders Without Shipping Insurance

 

If the customer chooses not to purchase Shipping Insurance, Oceania Washbasin shall not be responsible or liable for any:

 

- Transit damage

- Breakage

- Cracks

- Chipping

- Scratches caused during transport

- Loss

- Theft

- Mishandling by the courier

- Delay by the shipping company

- Any damage occurring after the shipment has been handed over to the logistics provider.

24. Product Specification Guarantee

 

Irrespective of Shipping Insurance, Oceania Washbasin guarantees that the product dispatched from our factory will match the customer's final approved:

- Dimensions

- Material

- Marble or Stone Selection

- Finish

- Custom Specifications

 

If the delivered product differs due to our manufacturing error, Oceania Washbasin will provide an appropriate repair, replacement, or mutually agreed resolution.

 

Natural stone variations described in these Terms shall not be considered manufacturing defects.

25. Mandatory Inspection on Delivery

 

Customers must inspect the shipment immediately on the day of delivery.

 

Before opening the package, inspect the outer packaging carefully.

 

If external damage is visible, customers should immediately notify both the delivery company and Oceania Washbasin.

 

Failure to inspect the shipment on the day of delivery may affect claim eligibility.

26. Mandatory Continuous Unboxing Video

 

To be eligible for any claim regarding:

 

- Transit Damage

- Missing Items

- Manufacturing Defects

- Replacement

- Insurance Claims

 

the customer must record one continuous unedited unboxing video.

 

The recording must:

 

- Start before opening the sealed package.

- Clearly show all sides of the package.

- Clearly show the shipping labels.

- Show the condition of the package before opening.

- Record the complete opening process.

- Show the entire product after unpacking.

- Continue until the inspection has been completed.

- Contain no cuts, edits, pauses, fast-forwarding, or interruptions.

 

The customer must also capture clear photographs of:

 

- Outer Packaging

- Shipping Labels

- Internal Packaging

- Complete Product

- Close-up photographs of any damage (if applicable)

 

All photographs and videos must be shared with Oceania Washbasin on the same day the product is delivered.

27. Invalid Claims

 

Claims shall automatically become invalid if:

 

- The unboxing video starts after the package has already been opened.

- The recording contains cuts, edits, pauses, missing footage, or interruptions.

- Only photographs are submitted.

- No continuous unboxing video is available.

- The claim is reported after the day of delivery.

- The product has been installed before inspection.

- The product has been altered, repaired, or modified by the customer or any third party.

- Required evidence is not provided.

 

Oceania Washbasin reserves the right to reject such claims.

28. Evidence Requirement

 

For every claim, the following shall be treated as primary evidence:

 

- Continuous Unedited Unboxing Video

- Product Photographs

- Packaging Photographs

- Shipping Labels

- Courier Details

- Invoice

- Order Number

 

Without the above evidence, Oceania Washbasin may not be able to process any claim.

29. Installation Responsibility

 

Natural stone products are heavy and fragile.

 

Installation must be carried out by experienced and qualified professionals using appropriate tools and installation materials.

 

Oceania Washbasin shall not be responsible for damage caused by:

- Incorrect Plumbing

- Incorrect Countertop Cut-outs

- Mishandling

- Structural Movement

- Inadequate Support

- Improper Wall Mounting

- Improper Maintenance

30. Cleaning & Maintenance

- Do not use acidic cleaners.

- Wipe the surface with a soft cloth.

- Clean spills promptly.

- Follow proper stone care practices.

 

Improper cleaning methods may permanently damage natural stone and are not covered under any warranty.

31. Warranty Disclaimer

Because Custom Orders are manufactured exclusively according to customer-approved specifications, they cannot be cancelled, returned, exchanged, or refunded once production has commenced.

41. Returns

 

Returns may only be accepted where:
